In high-temperature industrial furnaces, not only does the material’s performance matter — the installation method also plays a key role in determining the insulation effect and long-term durability. CCEWOOL® offers two proven installation structures tailored to different application needs. When combined with our high-quality refractory ceramic fiber blocks, they provide more efficient, stable, and reliable thermal insulation systems.
The quilt arrangement groups four refractory ceramic fiber blocks into a square layout (two on top, two on bottom), with adjacent modules rotated 90° along the folding direction. This structure offers the following benefits:
Easy Installation – Simple and adaptable design, suitable for all types of industrial furnaces
Enhanced Joint Coverage – Overlapping placement minimizes heat loss through seams
More Uniform Insulation Layer – Ensures better thermal stability across the entire furnace lining
The soldier arrangement installs refractory ceramic fiber blocks aligned along the compression direction and fixes them in place with “U”-shaped anchors. Key advantages include:
Prevents Gaps from Uneven Expansion – Maintains seamless lining integrity
Tighter Structure – Improves overall insulation performance of the furnace wall
Ideal for High-Temperature, High-Pressure Environments – Suitable for heavy-duty or long-running furnace systems

In the high-temperature industrial world, ceramic wool blankets are widely used in steelmaking, petrochemical, heat treatment, and power industries for their light weight, low thermal conductivity, and superior insulation performance. Yet one question remains crucial for engineers and operators alike: How long can a ceramic wool blanket actually last? In reality, the lifespan of a […]

In high-temperature industrial environments, corrosive agents are among the biggest threats to the service life of furnace linings. Alkali vapors, slag, acidic fumes, and chlorine-containing gases continuously attack insulation layers, leading to fiber embrittlement, powdering, or spalling. When insulation materials lack corrosion resistance, they not only lose thermal efficiency but also risk structural instability and […]

In high-temperature industrial applications, a ceramic paper gasket plays the dual role of sealing and insulation. It must not only operate stably for long periods at temperatures ranging from several hundred to over a thousand degrees Celsius, but also withstand mechanical stress and thermal shock during installation and operation. If tensile strength is insufficient, the […]
